Junub Translations is a Nairobi-based language service provider offering professional linguistic solutions to translation companies and clients across the world. The agency was founded in July 2022 by Duol Biel Tut, a passionate linguist and certified Nuer translator from South Sudan.

The word “Junub” means “South” in Arabic and refers to Junub Sudan (South Sudan) — symbolizing the agency’s origins and commitment to empowering African linguists. From its beginnings in supporting South Sudanese languages and refugees, Junub Translations has grown into a leading African agency representing dozens of languages across the continent.
